Mary George Greene, 74, of Frazeysburg, OH and formerly of Pickerington, OH passed away on September 2, 2012 at the Medical Center of Newark, OH after an extended illness. Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 9, 2012 from 2 to 5 with a 5pm Funeral Service at Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 225 N Main St., Johnstown, OH.
Mary was born on May 7, 1938 in Norma, TN the only child of the late Gideon and Senneth (Hatfield) Lloyd.
Mary was united in marriage to Richard A. Greene on August 9, 1957 in Columbus, OH. She was a graduate of Summit Station High School and Bliss Business College. A loving mother and grandmother, Mary enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. As a retired secretary of Pickerington Middle School, Mary spent her later years enjoying the outdoors, reading and playing guitar.
Mary is survived by her husband of 55 years, her sons; John L. (Catherine) of Alexandria, OH, Richard A. (Alison) of Johnstown, OH, five granddaughters; Allison, Senneth, Shawntae, Brittany, and Carson, her stepfather Leroy Holbrook of Pataskala, OH.
