Merrilyn Joyce Travis

Merrilyn Joyce Travis, 85, of Johnstown, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at her residence. She was born on September 27, 1936 in Meigs Co., OH, a daughter to the late Eugene and Della (Bolton) Stanley. Merrilyn is survived by her loving children, Harold Travis, Rebecca Rister, Jeff Travis and Tammy Saunders; grandchildren, Danhyell (Jimmy) Poillucci, Chad Travis, Christina Emery, Merrilyn (Corey) Lansing, Della Williams, Nick Travis, Zach Travis, Sam Travis, Jeremy Travis, Brandon Travis, Mitch Travis, Dustin (Brandi) Saunders, Brian (Lisa) Saunders and Ashlie Saunders; 22 great-grandchildren; siblings, Eleanor Snow, Cheryl Thomas and Larry Stanley; daughter-in-law, Karen Travis and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Les” Travis; son, Charles “Chuck” Travis; siblings, Lloyd Stanley, Linder Stanley, Lowell Stanley, Russell Stanley, Darcene Mansfield, Thelma Hoch and Barbara Mathewson and daughter-in-law, Renay Travis. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at CROUSE-KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Calvin Alexander officiating. Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Alexandria, OH.
