A Funeral Service for Michael Lee Bishop of Alexandria will be held Thursday October 2, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Crouse Kauber Sammons Funeral Home in Johnstown, Ohio. Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Alexandria.
Michael was born in Columbus Ohio on July 3, 1942 to the late Robert and Hazel (McKay) Bishop. He died Sunday September 28, 2014 at the Kindred Health Care in Newark. He was 72.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Patricia (Evans) Bishop; sons David and Sean Bishop, granddaughter Jesse Bishop, and his sister Diane Wright, and many loving and caring friends. He loved his family, and was a dedicated, hard working family man. He loved the outdoors as he hunted and fished with his family. He was a veteran of the US Navy, a Union Carpenter of Local # 200, a 50 year Mason with the Johnstown Lodge, and was a Cleveland Browns fan.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and 2 hours prior to the service on Thursday.
