Mona Lou Watts

Mona Lou Watts, age 75, of Croton, Ohio passed away at her residence on Sunday, April 12, 2026, she was surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born on May 3, 1950, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Ruth Mowery.

Mona is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Michael Watts; children, Lisa Watts and Shane Watts; grandchildren, Tyler (Tasha) Martin, Miranda Martin, and Haley Martin; great-grandchildren, Weston Martin, Brady Martin, Kassen Martin, Wyatt Martin, and Bennett Westbrook; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones. In addition to her mother, Mona is preceded in passing by many other beloved family, friends, and loved ones.

Mona was a loving and kind soul, she enjoyed spending time with her family especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone she met. She loved to travel to Amish Country, visit any garage sale and flea market she came across, attending races with her family, and all things home decor. She retired from Chemical Abstract Service (CAS) after forty hardworking years in their printing and graphics department. Mona will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.

Family and friends may gather from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Crouse-Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, OH 43031. A funeral service for Mona is to immediately follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Mona will be laid to rest at Hartford Cemetery.
