Patricia Black

A Funeral Service for Patricia L. French Black will be held Friday February 21, 2014 at the Crouse Kauber Sammons Funeral Home at 10:00 am with Fr. James Black and her grandson CPO Tim Ramsey officiating. Interment will be in the Union Cemetery in Columbus. Patricia was born in Columbus on July 11, 1940 . She passed at her son's home in Apple Valley on Saturday February 15, 2014. She was 73.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands William E. Black Jr. and Edwin J French, and her daughter Terry Lynn French.

Patricia is survived by her children Karen (Dave) Burris of Thornville, Edwin J. (Cindy) French II of Apple Valley, Keely (Jim) Rogers of Columbus, Charlene (David) Barr of Johnstown, Jeannie (Dave) Clayton of Johnstown; 12 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, and 8 great-grandchildren with another expected soon, and her sister Jean (Chip) Reeves of Phoenix, Arizona.

Patricia loved her miniature Dachshund Bella, sewing, genealogy research and showing horses in her younger days.

Friends may call at the funeral home on 225 North Main Street, Johnstown on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In Patricia's memory, friends may contribute to the Hospice of Knox County.
