Richard "Dick" George Rosshirt

Richard “Dick” Rosshirt, 85, Johnstown, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at St. Ann’s Hospital. A memorial visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, November 4, 2022 at the Church of The Ascension, 555 S. Main Street, Johnstown, OH 43031. Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the church with Father Stephen Smith officiating. A celebration of life will continue from 3-6 p.m. at Gahanna Moose, 335 W. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230. Richard “Dick” Rosshirt was born May 1, 1937, in Columbus, OH to the late Walter and Marjorie Rosshirt. He is a retired Book Binder, member of the Church of The Ascension, and member of the Moose Lodge, Gahanna. He loved playing euchre, watching the Buckeyes, giving away his Hershey Kisses and spending time with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Madeline Rosshirt. He is Survived by his three daughters and one son, Tami (Randy) Roese, Patti (Joe) Norris, Cheryl (Terri Meng) Rosshirt and Rick (Jennifer) Rosshirt, all from Johnstown; two sisters Maryann (Ted) Bozzetti, Jeanette Conrad; seven grandchildren, Kristin, Kara (Allen), Colton, Joey, Brandy (Matt), Tyler and Alex; seven great grandchildren Beckett, Nolan, Haley, Audrey, Hadley, Evan and Ryan; dear friends, Doug (Carolyn) Andrews, Russ (Emily) Brown and Bart (Kathy) Mahoney. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Church of the Ascension, 555 S. Main St., Johnstown, OH 43031 in Dick's memory.
