He was a 5 year cancer survivor, retired from The Ohio State University after 30 years as a groundskeeper supervisor. He loved to watch sports, he was a kind and gentle soul who was loved by many. His quick wit will be missed by everyone that knew him. He is preceded in death by parents John and Phyllis Maynard and brother Rudy. He is survived by brother Dave (Betty) Maynard. He is also survived by his wife of 42 years Teri Maynard, 1 son Bryan Maynard, 3 daughters, Missy (Bryan) Byers, Christina Slone, Pamela (Jim) Fuller. 7 grandsons, 4 granddaughters, and 1 great granddaughter. the family would like to include a quote:
