Robert A. Grove Sr.

Robert A. Grove, Sr., 84, of Johnstown, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2013, at his residence. Funeral service will be 10 30 AM on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 225 N. Main Street, Johnstown, OH with Father Paul Enke officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Johnstown, OH.

Mr. Grove, Sr. was born on June 30, 1928 in Logan, OH to the late George and Margaret (Barletta) Grove. He retired from Lucent, Columbus, OH., he was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church, Granville, OH, and also a member of the US Army.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty Grove of Johnstown, son and three daughters, Bobby (Bonnie) Grove, Jr of McConnelsville, Karen Albright of Johnstown, Joey Rhodeback of Alexandria, Teri (Chuck) Wilson of Pataskala, eleven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by his brother, Bill Grove, sister, Kat Sergio, granddaughter, Tammy Cromes.
