Ginn, William Wallace “Bill”, 88, of Alexandria, passed away at his residence on January 29, 2014. He was born to the late Walter L and Frieda (Longwell) Ginn on June 29, 1925 in Sunbury, Ohio. Bill was the manager of the Shell station in Alexandria. He then became the Parts/Service Manager at Kenney Chevrolet in Johnstown, Ohio in 1961 until his retirement in April 1991.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Barbara (Revercomb) Ginn and his only son, Charles William Ginn. He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Nancy Ginn of Alexandria, Ohio; Sister, Velma Juanita Thorpe of Apache Junction, Arizona; sister-In-laws, Delores “Susie” Mahring of Alexandria, Ohio, Ruth Revercomb of Alexandria, Ohio and Charlotte Revercomb of Heath, Ohio and two very special grandchildren, Megan and Kyle Dunlap of Newark, Ohio.
A Memorial service will be held at the Alexandria United Methodist Church on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 1:00 pm with refreshments to follow.
