He was born in Gary, Indiana and in 1992 he relocated to Riverdale, GA. There, he worked for Racetrack Petroleum & Yum brands until he came out on disability. Lupi didn’t have children of his own, but had nieces and a nephew whom he was a like a second father to. From the time they were born, he would have unique nicknames for them like “Hoochiebell” and “Piglet”.
As he became older, he became a little less private and would allow visitors, but only a choice few. He was a gamer that loved his games & playing online with his gaming friends. A man of few words unless you really knew him and those who did understood.
Lupi was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Shirley; brothers, Charlton and Dwayne and one great-nephew, Devin.
He leaves to cherish his memories; two brothers, Leroy (Melanie) and Troy of GA; four nieces, Lari, Tanequa, Bianca (Robert) and Tyana (Lisa); eight nephews, Leroy (Jay), Tajuane (Monique), Donte, Troy Jr., Jimelle, Dominique (Sabrina), Robert and Joshua; twenty-two great-nieces and nephews; one great-great niece; special sister-in-love, Vickie Labordor; and a host of relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held at Tara Garden Chapel, located at 681 North Ave, Jonesboro, GA 30236, on February 2, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
