Callixte Uwimfura

Callixte Uwinfura was born on January 1, 1952 and passed away on April 18, 2012. He was the son of the late Yohani Nepomuseni Ngirabanyiginya and Imakulata Mukamabano, and the oldest of 6 children. Callixte was born and raised in Cyeru, Ruhengeri (Rwanda), lived in Kigali (Rwanda) for many years, and was residing in Jonesboro, Georgia. Mr. Uwinfura is survived by his wife, Sifa Umutesi; a wonderful daughter, Labelle Mukamabano Umutesi, a brother (Nikodemu), 2 sisters (Bernadette and Cansilda), and a host of other family and friends. Callixte was loved dearly by all who knew him and will truly be missed. He was reliable, considerate, and a man who could appreciate and understand your point of view. Callixte’s love for others, especially the youth, and his integrity were never questioned. Everyone who met him saw that there was something about him that was genuine and true. He was a man of strong principles that he believed and lived by,

but a well-liked and well-respected man.
