If roses grow in heaven, Lord, please pick a bunch for us. Please place them in our mother’s arms and tell her they’re from us. Tell her we love her and miss her, and when she turns to smile, kiss her cheek and hold her for a while. Because remembering her is easy, we do it every day, but there is an ache within our hearts that will never go away.

God, our Father, shared you, his chosen, with us. He made you from love and you became our home. Your smile was so honest. Your soul so very pure. We are blessed by your gaze, and your warmth made us strong. Your greatest treasure was your family. Your greatest dream was to see us well. A Mother like no other, an angel that from Heaven fell. And though life gave you struggles; you taught us to keep our faith. We will keep you alive in our hearts until you greet us at home again.

Si las rosas crecen en el cielo, Señor, por favor, toma un ramo para nosotros. Por favor, ponlas en los brazos de nuestra madre y dile que son de nuestra parte. Dile que la amamos y la extrañamos, y cuando ella vuelva a sonreír, bésala en la mejilla y abrázala un rato. Porque recordarla es fácil, lo hacemos todos los días, pero hay un dolor en nuestros corazones que nunca desaparecerá.

Dios, nuestro Padre, te compartió, su elegida, con nosotros. Te creó por amor y te convertiste en nuestro hogar. Tu sonrisa era tan sincera. Tu alma tan pura. Somos bendecidos por tu mirada, y tu calidez nos fortaleció. Tu mayor tesoro fue tu familia, tu mayor sueño fue vernos bien. Una madre como ninguna otra, un ángel que cayó del cielo. Aunque la vida te dio dificultades, nos enseñaste a mantener la fe. Te mantendremos viva en nuestros corazones hasta que nos recibas de nuevo en casa y nos volvamos a ver.
