Charles Edward Jenkins

Charles Edward “Chibble” Jenkins was born January 25. 1950, to the late Burney and Annie Mae Jenkins in Clarksville, TN. He departed peacefully April 1, 2011 in Austell, GA. The funeral will be Saturday April 9, 2011 at 12:00pm Trinity Tabernacle Baptist Church 592 Veterans Memorial Highway Mableton, GA. He graduated from Burt High School and attended Austin Peay State University in Clarksville. He was truly a devoted man of God who served God faithfully at St. John Baptist Church, The Community Church in Clarksville and Trinity Tabernacle Baptist Church in Mableton, GA. He also served God as a committed bible counselor at Cedine Bible Camp in Spring City, TN.

He was preceded in death by both parents and two siblings, Barbara Jean and James Arthur.

He leaves to mourn his loss: Fiancé Sharon Cox-Atlanta, GA., Siblings: Evelyn McCarty, Rhonda Wallace and Ernest Jenkins-Nashville, TN, LaVergne Jenkins, Donald (Pat) Jenkins and Margaret Stewart Clarksville, TN., Yolanda Denise Jenkins-Louisville, KY., Sharletta (Howard)Butler-Tyrone, GA, Clayton, Jenkins-Ypsilanti, MI., , Burney (Trina)Jenkins- Lexington, KY., Alton Jenkins-Cadiz, KY, Other Siblings: Portia Wills Lee, Kathy Wills, Cassandra (Eugene) Gilmore and brother Kirk (Marilyn)Wills. Loyal cousin Freda Quarles-Union City, GA. He also leaves a host of loving and caring nieces, nephews, cousins and a plethora of loving friends and extended families.
