He was born on February 14, 1952, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Mamie Evelyn and Martin Luther Windom Jr., both of whom preceded him in death.
Danny was a longtime resident of Jonesboro, Georgia.
He is survived by his son, Matthew Steven Windom, and his granddaughter, Rory Evelyn Windom.
Danny was a devoted father and grandfather, known for his deep love for his family. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and his passion for collecting historical items.
As a skilled locksmith, Danny took great pride in his work and helped many in his community. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A visitation for Danny will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Tara Garden Chapel, 681 North Ave, Jonesboro, GA 30236. Following the visitation will be an interment from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Fairview Memorial Gardens, 164 Fairview Rd, Stockbridge, GA 30281.
