Electra K. Collier, age 90, formerly of Molena GA, passed away at her residence in Jonesboro on Monday, August 6th, 2012. She left behind one sister Virginia Mitchell; a great grandson that she raised as her own Dominic Dawson and his wife (Joyce Dawson). She had three granddaughters Joann Lockhart, Dorothy Davis, and Alicia Ingram; other nieces, nephews, cousins, and relatives. Electra was a Mother at Flint Ridge Baptist Church. She was well known and loved by the people in her community. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday August 10th, 2012 at Tara Chapel Garden Chapel; located at 681 North Ave. Jonesboro, GA between the hours of 4PM and 8PM. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday August 11th, 2012 at 11AM. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park Cemetery, Jonesboro GA. The family will assemble at the funeral home at 10AM on the day of service.
