Betty was my ray of sunshine and I looked forward to seeing her beautiful smile each Tuesday. My condolences to Joan and family. Betty was truly loved and will be deeply missed. 

Betty, you were such a sweet loving woman. If it had not been for you selling Joe and I your beautiful home, my family would have never had the opportunity to come and visit Florida all year round. It was always sure a pleasure to come up the street and visit with you, Joan and Caesar. I missed our talks after you moved to Georgia. But you always wrote me a short message on your Christmas card. I will never forget you.

My condolences to the family.  Nana Betty was a very special person.  I never saw her when she was not smiling and adding a ray of sunshine to every situation. Her kindness, love of God, sense of humor and love of family were an inspiration to me.  I loved talking with her and soaking up her wisdom.  I will miss her, but she is in my heart so I will never be without her.

So sorry for your loss. I will keep you in prayer.

Nana Betty, the sweetest lady I’ve ever met. She truly was an angel on earth. You could feel her love just being in the same room as her. She will be missed. Rest in peace and fly high nana xo 

I just loved my Aunti Betty. I loved talking to her on the phone and always reminded her how excited I would be as a child seeing her march down Main Street in the Memorial Day parade. I always admired how she was always coordinated with her appearance; always looking her best. I loved being inside of her house on Strawberry Hill Rd. There was a time when I wondered would I ever see my Aunti Betty again. This was when she had moved to Florida. I was so surprised when Deana told me Aunti Betty was living in Georgia just down the street from her. Deana arranged a surprise visit and once again I was united with Aunti Betty.  I remembered being surprise seeing her wear lipstick.  She was still looking her best. 103 years is a long time to live. However, it doesn't seem long enough when a person departs this life. So, I have to thank GOD for giving me an aunt who was always so loving and kind. My heart still aches, but that's the price we pay for loving someone so dear. If I had to do this again, I certainly will.

My Nana ! She was a true pillar of strength , dignity , loyalty and compassion . Never a bad word spoken . Her family was her life . Her love could be felt as soon as you entered her room . Her presence could take away tears . Her laughter would light up a room . Her hugs and hand holding would keep you warm . She gave so much to those who knew her . I always say she brought so much to my table . I’m eternally grateful that Our Creator gave her to us . Forever in our heart , and in this walk of life without you I know you are with us in spirit .
