Fay I Hinton

Fay loved four things the most; God, church, family and football.

Fay was a loving mother with a heart of gold and was always willing to give and make sacrifice for others that knew her.

Fay was a member of New Generation Christian Fellowship Church in Griffin, Georgia.

Fay is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Deese and Elizabeth Deese Lance; her first husband and father of her children, James “Bubble-Eye” Crews; her second and last husband Clifford Hinton; and her son-in-law Cliff Hathcox.

Fay leaves to cherish her loving memories, 3 children Barbara Hathcox of Griffin, Georgia, Kenneth (Barbara) Crews of Griffin, Georgia and Russell (April) Crews of Jackson , Georgia ; 1 step- son Paul (Lisa) Hinton of Jonesboro, Georgia; grandchildren, Michael (Laura) Crews of Locust Grove, Georgia , Maranda (Chris) Weldon of Barnesville, Georgia (Michael and Maranda were raised as her own) , Melissa (Charles) Clark of Forest park, Georgia, Tiffany (Adrian) Searcy of Griffin, Georgia, Dena (Jason) Whitfield of St. Cloud, Florida, Lisa Holmes of Griffin, Georgia, Sarah Montgomery and Malik Montgomery of Douglasville, Georgia ,Ashley Crews and Brittany Crews of Madison, Georgia ; 17 great- grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Fay will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

To adhere to the CDC guidelines of social distancing, only 50 people may attend the service. We also require that everyone in attendance please wear a mask.
