

Hattie Rose Williams was a loving mother, grandmother, and matriarch of her family. Hattie took great pride in her role as the heart of her family and cherished spending time with them, especially during holidays. She had a deep love for card games and was always up for some friendly competition. An exceptional cook, Hattie dedicated countless hours to preparing her family's favorite meals, particularly her famous potato candy, which became a holiday tradition.
Beyond her culinary talents, Hattie enjoyed outdoor activities, including camping at the lake, water skiing, and swimming; always surrounded by family and friends. Music was an important part of her life, and she had a passion for all types of music. While she enjoyed many genres, her heart was most touched by the classical hymns, and she had a special place for country music and the oldies from the 50s and 60s.
Hattie worked for the Army & Air Force Exchange Service for 34 years, retiring in November 2012. Throughout her career, she built lasting friendships that she treasured deeply.
Hattie was called to be with the Lord on the afternoon of April 6, 2025. She passed peacefully, surrounded by those who loved her most. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Beulah and James Lewis, and her sisters, Sue Neace, Carolyn Hurst, and Denna Jean Lewis.
Hattie’s legacy and memories will live in the hearts of; her daughters, Terri Lynn Bailey (Donald) and Tracie Lea Williams; her granddaughters, Amber Rose Arnold and Trisha Lynn Jones; her great-grandchildren, Kaylee Lynn Rose Williams, Harlee Fae Hope Williams, Haroldson Anthony Lee Williams, Autumn Jackie Devoe Jones, and Asher Joseph Dalton Jones; her siblings, Ann Russell and Benny Lewis; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family who will miss her dearly.
