She was born November 16, 1947. Growing up in a family of 6 children (including her), she was having a happy life during her young age as she was the only girl with two older brothers and three younger brothers.
Having met Mr. Hao Nguyen who served for the South Vietnamese Army, they wed and had two daughters before her husband was sent to the re-education camp in 1975 (the end of Vietnam War). Without her husband on her side, she had worked hard to keep things going, raising her kids on her own.
Being reunited with her husband, after he was released from Communist Re-education Camp in 1980, they gave birth to their youngest son in 1984.
Due to the fact that her husband served in the South Vietnamese Army, the family was granted entry into the US in 1995 through the H.O. Program. She found her job in America working as a line worker at Fresh Express until her retirement, where she enjoyed working and raised her family alongside with her husband in Forest Park.
She has been a joy to everyone that gets to know her. Due to her peaceful and calming characteristic, she is loved by her friends, relatives and family members. She has left behind a smile that can’t be forgotten. Her imprint of life values has profoundly transpired onto her children. Her life, a legend, a story yet to be told has continued its journey down her children and many generations to come.
We all miss her dearly and God will stay with her as she leaves us into her eternal life.
