

Jacklin D. Rogers, age 64 of Jonesboro, GA, passed away July 27, 2019. She was originally from Lafayette, LA. She relocated to Georgia in 1986 and took a job at Ryan’s Steakhouse, where she worked until 2006. She went to work for Cracker Barrel from 2006 until her retirement in 2016.
Jacklin was preceded in death by her husband, David Wayne Rogers; three sons, David “Bubba” Rogers, Timothy James Rogers, and Billy Wayne Rogers; her parents, Adam “Buster” Duhon and Leontine Duhon. She leaves to cherish memories of one daughter, Jacqueline Delarosa; grandchildren, Jessica (Ronnie) Deaton, Brandi Rogers, Katie Rogers, Payton Bourque, Jaime “JT” Gonzalez, Yuvani Gonzalez, Luis “Nene” Gonzalez, Adam Delarosa, and Shannon Delarosa; great-grandchildren, Jackson Reid Deaton, Connor Wayne Deaton, and Mallory Brook Fontana; daughter-in-law, Kimberly McBride Rogers; brothers, Allen Duhon, David (Kathy) Duhon, and Walter (Joetta) Duhon.
Also, a countless number of family and friends. A special thanks to everyone for all of the love and support that has been shown to our family; as well as a special thanks to Sacred Journey Hospice and their wonderful staff. As we prepare to let go of this amazing woman, we can be at peace knowing that she is being reunited with her boys, the love of her life, and her parents for eternity.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 4pm until 8pm. Funeral services Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 11am. Burial Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
