Jimmy Roberts Peavy went home to be with The Lord on Friday, April 29, 2016. Tara Garden Chapel located in Jonesboro, Georgia will host services for Jimmy. Services will begin on Sunday, May 1 from 4pm until 7pm with Visitation, where family and friends will gather in remembrance of Jimmy and offer each other comfort during this time. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 2 at 1 pm in the Tara Garden Chapel, with burial to follow at Sherwood Memorial Park and Mausoleum also located in Jonesboro. Jimmy Roberts Peavy’s memory will continue to live on through his fiancée’ Elsie Whitaker, daughter Jennifer Dorsey and her husband Ray Dorsey, stepsons John and Jason Whitaker, grandchildren Jalyn and Jamari Whitaker and his siblings Riley Peavy, Joy Peavy and Charlene Moss. Jimmy will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
