Johnny L. Boynton Sr., 66, formerly of Americus, GA and a long time resident of Jonesboro, GA, passed away on October 9, 2012. Mr. Boynton was a graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. He also served in The United States Army. Mr. Boynton is retired from SYSCO Foods in Atlanta, GA. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 18, 2012 between the hours of 6PM and 7PM at Tara Garden Chapel Funeral home, located at 681 North Ave., Jonesboro, GA 30236 (770-471-7171). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 11AM in the chapel of the funeral home.
