I have such great memories of you mom. She was always there for me and always willing to help me no matter what. Even on days where she felt her worst, she was always willing to come through. I cannot say our relationship was always that way. In fact, when my mom had called to tell me she was moving to Florida, I was ready to move to another state. I give all thanks to God that He had a better plan and knew restoration was what I needed. Our relationship was restored to something way better than it had ever been. Not only did you get closer with me, but Steve and the kids. Now the hardest part is trying to figure out how to live without you. I can no longer call when I have questions that only mom can help answer.  I will never ever taste your homemade cream corn that I loved so much. I remember it all too well. There are moments it is actually hard to breathe. But I take comfort in knowing that this is not the end, we will be together again. So, until then I will keep it 100 on the land. I pledge allegiance to your hand and keeping your spirit alive in me. I love you forever and always mom.

Always there for whatever she could make I love my memaw and I know that she’ll always be at any event or anything.

I don’t really even know what to say. Memaw was the kindest, most loving soul I will ever know. I still cannot believe she is gone. She loved me and cared for me so much and I will absolutely never forget her. She was always like another momma to me, even as a little girl. My heart aches. I love her so much and will forever be grateful for being so very blessed to call her my Memaw. I can remember even now all the times I was at her house growing up, all the times she would take me to the salon to spend Papa Smurf’s money to get my hair and nails done, or to go to Chuck E. Cheese’s to play games all day, the times her and I would go visit Papa Smurf after he passed. I may not have called as much as I should have nearing the end of her life, but I know in my heart that she knew how much I love her and I know she is with Papa Smurf again just like she has dreamed about for years. When she moved to Florida, we spent a lot of every week together until I loved out. We would go chick fil a together, then go back to her place and spend the rest of the day together, watch movies, talk about everything, and really just enjoy having each other around. I really go to know her as an adult and I am so grateful I had that time with her. And I am so so glad she brought me and Kyle together, because I know that she knows I’ve found my Papa Smurf and I am loved and cared for. 
Long live all the memories we made, we had the time of our lives fighting dragons with you. ❤️

Oh My.... Where Do I even start. Linda was such a sweetheart. I know we all called her Maw or MaMurphy... She was such a bright spot in my life. We began to become friends and hang out. We also like to meet for lunch.... We especially enjoyed longhorns whenever we could meet there we did. We would often call one another on the phone she was always uplifting and encouraging. I spoke with her on Wednesday before she passed. She sounded so upbeat and so positive. I so enjoyed sharing life with her and always had a laugh a smile or an encouraging word. I will miss her and I loved her thank you Wendy for sharing her with me, and the world. My deepest sympathy 💔
