I will never forget our last visit and your tears of joy when we found the bible you had misplaced. I know it was very important to you as you had already prepared for your celebration of life which you had tucked away in your bible. It brings us some comfort to know you are no longer suffering or in pain. Heaven gained a sweet soul.
RIP Aunt Nell 😢

Aunt Nell, I miss you! I will never forget you! I have loved the times spent with you in childhood. Remembering my first quarter earned babysitting Greg and Scott for you and Momma to go shopping. I was only 8. The last years we have gotten back together with you and the guys have meant everything to me, our trips to the mountains us laying and rolling down the mountain together, so much fun and laughter! I have pictures and will cherish them forever! I will miss you in the mountains this year, but I know that you are in heaven sing with the angels today I plan to see you again some day. Sending all my love to you, my mamma and papa, daddy and all the other angels before you! I love you, Sherry

I was her first born Granddaughter. We have so very many memories together! From summers and weekends to road trips and vacations. I saw many states with her and Ralph, not knowing I started my bucket list early in life. They even took me on a cruise for my high school graduation! I treasure our Sunday church services, family reunions, trips to Aunt Pauline & Uncle Hugh’s for Sunday dinner. I learned a lot of my cooking skills from her! My favorite dishes she made are corn casserole, linguini salad and chocolate delight! She was a wonderful, loving and caring person. She had the caregiver instinct and would do just about anything for anyone! I will miss hearing her say Love You Baby when we would end a phone call or visit.

A bright sunrise will contradict the heavy fog that weighs you down
In spite of all the funeral songs
The birds will make their joyful sounds

You'll wonder why the earth still moves
You'll wonder how you'll carry on
But you'll be okay on that first day when I'm gone

Dusk will come with fireflies and whippoorwill and cricket's call
And every star will take its place
In silvery gown and purple shawl

You'll lie down in our big bed
Dread the dark and dread the dawn
But you'll be alright on that first night when I'm gone

You will reach for me in vain
You'll be whispering my name
As if sorrow were your friend
And this world so alien

But life will call with daffodils
And morning glorious blue skies
You'll think of me some memory
And softly smile to your surprise

And even though you love me still
You will know where you belong
Just give it time, we'll both be fine
When I'm gone
