Ruth Mason Hunter, 85, of Jonesboro, Georgia entered into rest on Thursday, October 20, 2011. Mrs. Hunter is preceded in death by her husband and her 13 brothers and sisters. Those left behind to cherish her memory include her loving son: Charles Ray Hunter; granddaughter: Lisa Hunter Hammett; great grandchildren: Alex Hammett and Elise Hammett; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 23, 2011 from 5-7PM at Tara Garden Chapel 681 North Ave. Jonesboro, Georgia 30236. Services honoring Mrs. Hunter will be on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 11AM in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Sherwood Memorial Park.
