Thomas James Edward Evans, Jr. affectionately known as “Billy” was born September 29, 1960 in Atlanta, GA to Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Evans Sr. (Jessie Lou). On November 13, 2020, Billy transitioned from his earthly body and began a new walk with God.
Billy was educated at Atlanta Public School Systems, D.M. Therrell High School. He was employed with Barton Security as a security officer and joined Berean Seventh Day Adventist Church at an early age.
Billy was known for his sense of humor and living life to the fullest while walking and mentoring to the homeless of Atlanta Georgia. He was kind and gentle soldier, making people laugh. He loved dancing and enjoyed his cup! His dad was his hero and loved spending time with family on special occasions.
Billy leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted and loving father; Thomas Evans Sr., four sisters, Sherri Ann (Daryl) Richardson, Tommie Mae (Larry) Henderson, Linda (Donald) Harris and Albertha Porter; mother, Jessie Lou Jordan (preceded him in death), one uncle, Jessie (Jessica) Evans, two aunts, Annie Bell and Beatrice Evans, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
