William “Bill” Glenn Mallett, 78, of Riverdale, Georgia entered into rest on Tuesday, September 13, 2011. He was the son of the late Rufus and Velva Mallett. Mr. Mallett is preceded in death by his brothers: George Mallett, John Mallett, and Larry Mallett; and sister: Carolyn Mallett. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 58 years: Carol Mallett; children: Pamela Mallett Cardin, Marty M. Mallett, and Greg W. Mallett; grandchildren: Dustin Mallett, Megan Mallett, Morgan Mallett, Parker Mallett, and Emily Mallett; brother: Edward Mallett; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 15, 2011 from 6-9PM at Tara Garden Chapel 681 North Ave. Jonesboro, Georgia 30236. Services honoring Mr. Mallett will be on Friday, September 16, 2011 at 1PM in the chapel of the funeral home with his son, Pastor Greg Mallett, officiating.
