Jim Schott passed away after a brief illness on January 31, 2024. Jim was born on November 4, 1940 in Baltimore MD, to parents Albert and Ruth Schott. After Serving in the army Jim embarked on a very successful 43 year career with master builders technologies. Retirement brought more time for travel and golf. He spent many years as a member of North Palm Beach CC playing with a special group of friends. Jim is survived by his beloved wife Jane Madden Schott, sister Louise Gott (Gilson), daughter Amy Peters (Bryan), stepson David Donnelly (Vicki) with whom he had a very special bond and five adored grandchildren.
Jim’s journey was a testament to his warmth, generosity, and the profound connections he forged with those around him. As we bid farewell to Jim, let us celebrate a life rich in experiences, marked by genuine friendships. May he rest in eternal peace surrounded by the love and memories that will forever reside in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and doctors at Jupiter Medical Center ICU and his caregivers at TrustBridge Hospital for their kindness and care. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
