She married the love of her life, Joseph Peter George on November 20, 1953 and celebrated 60 happy years of marriage before his passing.
Alice enjoyed dancing, bowling and her family. She is survived by her children John George, Karen Cook and Alison McDonald; seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and a large extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to St. Judes Children’s Hospital or to the George family.
