Tomorrow will make one month since you’ve been gone.  To say it’s been “rough” is an understatement. I miss you every where … and appreciate you more with every passing day. The rightest thing I did in my life was spending the beginning of my life and the end of yours … alone with you.  Selfishly,  I was grateful to have been quarantined with you … and to have had you, pretty much all to myself from March of 2020 … until July 4, 2021, when you were certain I was going to be OK and all your babies were OK… loved and taken care of  … you surrendered your work here … your job here was done the very  next day - just the way you planned, with grace ~ a lady ~ aware. Thank you. I love you.  Your essence  … and the power of your love - grows  with me, eternally, Sally.

You’ll forever remain in my heart, mom. You were always there in our lives and the best mom anyone could ask for.  We had a great childhood growing up and lots of adventures. You and dad gave me my love and passion for the ocean. All the skin diving and swimming we used to do, crabbing, clamming, and hanging out with Lou and Arlene, Cindy and Laurie… best memories! I will also remember the fun we had playing tennis and looking forward to you coming to watch me play trumpet in high school and then professionally with Harry James and Wayne Newton when on tour in FL. Thank you for helping me reach my potential and being so supportive every step of the way. I love you with all my heart. 

When Sally introduced me to her mom, Anna immediately put me to the test.  “Oh, he’s Italian eh? What did George Washington say when he crossed the Delaware? — ‘ che cazzo di freddo!’” I burst out laughing, and passed the test.  I love you Anna.

The smile on her face the morning she passed was the biggest smile I had ever seen on a human being - ever.  Ear to Ear …  like a “U”. ❤️ Thank you, Lord for letting me see the peek … and answering her prayer. 

Such a loving, compassionate Woman. My Father (Carl Licata “Carlie”) would speak of her all the time. He loved her so much (as a second Mom) because she took such good care of him, was so nurturing, kind, full of humor and a wonderful cook. I finally had the pleasure of meeting her a few times and she also cooked me her Pot Roast (can still taste it). I know why my Father loved her so much and why she made an impression on everyone’s life she touch. She was a beautiful woman, inside and out. She was hilarious! She also listened and was kind. She will be missed by so many. May you Rest in Eternal Peace, until we see each other again, R.I.P. All my love, KellyAnn 💜

I am not sure I have the words to say how much my Grandmother means to me…, My whole life she has been there… she literally saved my life and ever since we had this special connection…. I know she is at peace but my heart aches and I will have an empty spot in my heart for her… I love you Grandma ❤️

No words can express the love you've given me.  You gave me life 74 years ago.  How lucky was I to have your love for all those 74 years!❤  Family always came first for you and my sister Sally, brother Anthony and I came before anything else in your life. Your love as well as your sense of humor made you a very special lady.  I will forever admire you for how well you managed your life after dad passed away.  You never wanted to be a burden on anyone and you never were. 95 feisty, funny, fabulous years!  Until we meet again  Mom, I love you with all my heart.

My mother-in-law was a very special lady. We were so blessed to have her in our lives. Her spirit conveyed an abundance of love in every sense of the word. She passed that down to others, especially to this amazing family, whom I am truly blessed to be part of.  Ma, you were one of the kindest, loving, and supportive individuals I’ve known. In the 18 years I knew you, one of the greatest of those memories is when I had the privilege to spend two weeks alone with you in January of 2019. You inspired me with your continued fight, wit, clarity of thought and exposition, humor, character, and outpouring of love for family, which never wavered. You endured and were relentless even through the grind of physical therapy. Although not your favorite thing, you maintained your feistiness and pushed on. Eventually, we would go out shopping together and WOW, could you shop! It was a delight to watch and it tickled my heart so. I will miss you but am comforted knowing your spirit lives on and you are with loved ones passed and are present with the good Lord in His celestial kingdom. Your love will leave an indelible imprint in our memories. Love you always… your daughter-in-law.
