Jeannie was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Blackhawks fan. During baseball season, she would schedule her activities so that she would never miss out on a game. Jeannie and her late husband, Jay, loved boating and their boat clubs. They traveled throughout the United States’ rivers and waterways, socializing, meeting people and having wonderful adventures.
After Jay sold his business, he and Jeannie retired and moved to Florida, where they spent their remaining days enjoying the lifestyle and making new friends. Jeannie still remained in contact with her relatives, often traveling to visit, sharing her love of sports, passion for politics, and keeping in touch.
Jeannie is survived by her son, Scott Karceski and her many dear relatives, including Karen Mooney, Joy Hoy, Brian Hoy and Darren Hoy.
“No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye,
You were gone before we new it and only God knows why.”
