

Passed away on August 12, 2014 at the age of 97. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Anna was worn February 18, 1917 and raised in New York’s Greenwich Village. After High School, Anna worked in and managed restaurants in Manhattan before moving on to work at the IRS until the end of World War II. Soon after the war, Anna and Joseph Ippolito were married. Together they opened a restaurant on City Island in the Bronx and had two children. They bought a winter home in North Palm Beach in 1959 and became full time residents in 1966. They continued in the restaurant business until 1972 when Joseph Sr. died. Anna eventually sold the business and retired in the late 1970’s. For the next 40 years, Anna volunteered her time to many endeavors. Anna was a Pink Lady at the Allamanda Elementary School in Palm Beach Gardens. She worked as an Usher at the Eassy Theatre at Palm Beach State College for over 10 years. She volunteered for 25 years and over 4000 hours for the Palm Beach Council for the Elderly and the North County Senior Citizens Center.
Anna is survived by her son Joseph and his wife Anne, daughter Jo-Ann Seigert and her husband Harold all of Jupiter; her sister Marie Duca of Hicksville, New York; four grandchildren Christopher and Mathew Seigert of Jupiter, Anna Drury and Elliott Ippolito of Waynesville, Georgia; three great grandchildren Ansley, Amelia, and Ethan.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18th from 5-8 PM, Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 19th at 10 AM, St. Peter Catholic Church, 1701 Indian Creek Blvd, Jupiter. Burial will follow at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, Florida.
