The perfect circle of life. Benjamin Lawrence Bedard was born on January 28, 1968, in London Ontario, Canada and passed away exactly 58 years later, on January 28, 2026, peacefully in his home in Jupiter, Florida.
In the face of a relentless and devastating illness, Ben showed tremendous patience, extraordinary steadiness, and unwavering kindness. Although it took almost everything from him, it never touched who he was. He met every single day with quiet, constant strength, outstanding courage, and genuine warmth. This is the epitome of Ben. You always felt calmer in his presence.
He was an exceptionally driven, hard-working man, and a true leader. He held a life-long dream of becoming a trial lawyer. He worked toward that goal every single day until he achieved his dream of owning a successful, state-wide law firm. He didn’t just achieve his dreams; he also created opportunities for others and changed lives along the way. He was loved and respected by all, even his most formidable opponents.
Benjamin was a Double Gator, attending the University of Florida for both undergraduate and law school. He bled orange and blue, and his love for the Florida Gators was steadfast and non-negotiable; just like our love for Benjamin. He was a devoted father and husband who was truly adored by his wife and children, as well as everyone else along his path.
Benjamin is survived by his wife, Laura Bedard; his children, Noelle Bedard, Lillian Bedard, Lincoln Bedard, and Macallan Bedard; his brothers, Dennis Bedard and Andrew Bedard; his mother, Linda Bedard, Kate Bedard; and many beloved relatives and friends.
Benjamin is predeceased by his father, Ronald Bedard.
His time was shortened, but his impact was not. The legacy he built will continue to guide us. There is nobody else like Benjamin Lawrence Bedard. He will be profoundly missed.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00pm on February 13, 2026, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Tequesta. Reception to follow at 3:00 pm at Wyndham Grand Jupiter at Harbourside Place.
