

A husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away on September 9, 2012. Born in Fall River, MA on June 21, 1957. Bruce lost his life leading a motorcycle motorcade escorting President Obama in West Palm Beach.
Bruce was a 20 year veteran of the Jupiter Police Department in Jupiter, Florida serving 18 years as a motorcycle officer. Bruce volunteered his time for numerous community outreach organizations including Habitat for Humanity and Head Start. Bruce received several letters of commendation as well as countless letters from the citizens in his community. Bruce received Jupiter Police Department’s Officer of the Quarter in 1993, 1996, and 2008. He received Officer of the year, the police department’s top award in 1996. Bruce was a proud member of the Jupiter Light Masonic Lodge 340.
Bruce is survived by his wife and true love Brenda; Sons Larry, Lenny, and Albert; Daughter Chartelle; Brothers Fred and Chet; Sister Terrie; Grandchildren Keegan, Elijah, Skylar, Acacia, DeLaney, Joshua, and Aim. He was loved by his family, friends, co-workers, and community. He will be deeply missed by all.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 13th from 5-8 PM, Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 14th at 11 AM, Christ Fellowship North Campus, 5343 Northlake Blvd, Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, Tequesta, FL.
