Titi Carmen will be greatly missed, until we meet again. She is one of the strongest, independent, , hard working, classy, fun, funny women in our family, that was an example for me growing up. I admired everything about her. As a kid, I could not understand what was the big deal when she would yell at us not to run up and down the stairs, or to not let the screen door slam, or sit on the bricked columns that held the gate up. As an adult, I understood how hard she worked, bought a three family home, for her family, all on her own, and how she had to protect her investment and us kids (her family), from getting hurt. She taught me the value of what you have worked so hard for. She took care of not only her grandmother and her mother, her daughter (Sonia), but all of us. She did all of this in a time in which women weren't equally valued. She took life by the horns and lived it her way and never looked back. Titi, I will miss you so. You are now at peace, rejoice with all that have gone before us.  Love you. Bendicion.❤️🌹

I’m very sorry about the lose of beloved Carmen or Mammi as Yvonne always called her. I had great respect for her. Raising a daughter all by yourself is no small task but doing it back then … I can’t even imagine the difficulties Carmen had to go through. I knew her as a loving mom to Yvonne, a great animal lover, a strong and independent individual and a dancer 💃. The later I was told and got to see on many videos. The last time I spoke to Carmen I told her what a wonderful job she did raising Yvonne. The most carrying friend and my biggest cheerleader. What a great person she raised and that I was thankful for her and her daughter. May you rest in peace Carmen. Until we all meet again. 

Since the day we met at pool many years ago Carmen was always part of my family. She was my greatest cheerleader. She will be missed but not forgotten. Till we meet again Mamasita Carmen and have your favorite margarita.  Love Always Lindeen 

I had the pleasure of meeting Carmen in 2018.  Her condo was just beneath mine and each day we got to see each other, chatting about the day.  One morning my cat actually fell off the balcony and onto her patio.   Well… Carmen didn’t miss a beat, running up the steps to let me know.  She was amazing!!  Always upbeat, very strong and positive and a GLORY to know.  Have missed that lady since we left there.  Rest in beautiful Peace my friend ❤️❤️

Carmen created and experienced a well lived life on her terms as a beautiful single mother in a time where she was a trailblazer. Her life story is truly amazing. In my 20+ years knowing her, she had my deepest respect as a mother who deeply loved her daughter Yvonne, my love. I saw her as courageous, strong willed, zest & love of family & life, business & street smart, fearless, loving, fashion plate, straight forward,  hard headed, genuine, no filter, like my parents. Carmen personified my father & mother, & will always be in my heart. God blessed her.

Carmen and I shared lots of time together at the pool and she loved coming over to visit my cats. We would share giggles and conversation on my patio with a bottle of wine while she fed treats to my cats. We enjoyed hanging out at her place too. I made her favorite cookies: snickerdoodles. She loved a homemade waffle weekly too! I will miss her tremendously. 

She was a breathe of fresh air when she walked into the office - always with a smile and a laugh.  I am blessed to have know her. She will greatly missed - God bless her and her family
