Carol Schaefer Goode, 83, died after a long struggle with COPD on Sunday, November 1, 2015 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. She was born on January 26, 1932 in Hammond, Indiana to Harry Snook and Ethel Frances Schaefer. Before retiring, Carol worked for the Town of North Palm Beach as an Administrator. As a single mother, Carol committed her life to raising her two children, developing the family’s traditions and beliefs.
Carol is survived by her two children, Tracey Scott and Greg Goode, and four grandchildren, Jacob, Emily, Matthew and Michael.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8 from 10:00am-12:00pm with a service at 12:00pm at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center, 754 U.S. Highway 1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park in Tequesta, Florida.
