Chrissie graduated from Palmetto High School, Miami Dade Jr College, and attended Florida State University. In 1980 she met Jack while serving on Jury Duty and they married in Miami in 1981. They eventually moved to the Jupiter area and recently celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary. Chrissie started and ended her career as a clerk in the federal probation office and was also an executive legal secretary for several law firms.
In her early years she volunteered as a Candy Striper in the hospital. She loved to document family and friend’s events with photos and albums for everyone to enjoy. Chrissie loved playing Trivial Pursuit, collecting lovable bears, I Love Lucy, the Royal Family and The Wizard of Oz memorabilia. She had a great love for kitties, icing on a cake and movie popcorn, but she will be most remembered for her etiquette of sending letters, cards and thank you’s to everyone.
Christine is survived by her husband, Jack Stanley; her sisters, Ginny (husband Gary), Patti (husband Chuck) Bob, brother-in-law and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Diane; her mother, Martha; and her father, Oscar.
A ceremony to honor Christine's life will be held at Aycock Funeral Home, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to:
