David was born on March 1, 1954 in Newark, New Jersey to Jacob and Ruth Greene. He married the love of his life, Paula, on August 28, 1977, and together they were married for 46 wonderful years.
He spent nearly 28 years working at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. He worked in various departments, his favorite being the Copy Center. He left a lasting impression on everyone that he met over the years. He was known hospital wide for his jokes and his annual cat poop Halloween brownies.
He loved cooking, painting, games and trivia, but most of all loved spending time with his grandchildren. After surviving a stroke in 2014, he was very active in his stroke support group which led him to the honors of throwing out the first pitch at a baseball game on multiple occasions for National Stroke Awareness Month (May). David will be remembered for his terrible dad jokes, great sense of humor, as well as a selfless, kind, and caring person.
He is survived by his loving wife Paula; Sons Adam and Brian; daughters Amanda (Will), and Sarah (Eric), and granddaughters Penelope, Scarlett, Lily, and Harper. Brother Elliot (Amy); and sister Cindy (Rob). He is predeceased by his parents Jacob and Ruth Greene.
