

Harry was born in Boston to Doris Lanier and Harry Chubbuck on March 28, 1944. He grew up as a military brat following his mother and step-father’s career in the US Army.
In 1964 he enlisted in the US Army and worked in Army intelligence throughout Europe. In 1967 he became a Dustoff helicopter evacuation medic in Vietnam. In 1967 he was awarded a Bronze Star with a V for valor after getting shot down seven times in one day. He also received a purple heart after being hit by a grenade during a rescue under fire.
Harry graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 1975. He was a successful entrepreneur and owned several businesses, including Worrybird Lawn and Garden Service, and Uncle Jack’s Bar and Grill. He also served as an officer in the Anchorage Police Department and was a Sheriff’s Deputy with Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO).
He was a member of the American Legion and the Moose Lodge.
Harry is survived his loving wife, Cambi; his sons, Lee, Nicole, Andrew & Steven and his grandson, Aidan Joseph Doyle Chubbuck, who shares his middle name. He left a loving extended family and his brothers and sister, Sharon, Nancy, Judith, Donna, Janice and Robert.
