Henryetta Lovett Wilber

Henryetta spent her early years in Pahokee, where her parents, Henry Lovett and Georgie Lovett, resided. After the passing of her father during her youth, her mother remarried, and the family eventually moved to West Palm Beach, where Henryetta would grow up and build her life.

She attended Central Elementary School in West Palm Beach, where her stepfather proudly served as principal. She continued her education locally and later graduated from Palm Beach High School. It was during her middle school years that she met the love of her life, Albert, at a local skating rink. Their bond grew into a lifelong partnership, and they were married for 59 wonderful years until Albert’s passing in 2015.

Henryetta lived a vibrant and adventurous life. She was known for her outgoing spirit and willingness to try new things—from taking a flying lesson in a Pitts aerobatic airplane to spending a day working on a tugboat. She had a love for fast cars and proudly owned a 1968 Camaro, delighting her children with the occasional burnout upon request.

Music was one of her greatest passions. She was a founding member of the Symphonic Band of the Palm Beaches and played the clarinet for over 50 years, sharing her love of music with her community. In addition, she enjoyed cross-stitching and playing mahjong, hobbies that brought her both joy and relaxation.

Henryetta is survived by her daughters, Beth (Robert) and Pam; her grandson, David Greenway (Tamara); and her cherished great-grandchildren, Gavin and Madison. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert, and her grandson, Eric Lucas.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Dignity/Aycock Funeral Home, located at 1112 Military Trail in Jupiter. A gathering will follow at the funeral home until 2:00 p.m.

Henryetta will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her deep love for family, and the music and joy she brought into the lives of all who knew her. Please wear bright colors to celebrate Henryetta.
