Hilton was born in Glenwood, GA on January 30, 1935. He graduated from Glenwood High School and then went on to attend trade school.
He and his wife Betty Wilcher Butler were married on May 21, 1954.
Hilton was a member of the Army, ranking as a Private First Class. After his military service, he became the owner of Manufacturers Miami Warehouse Internal Auto Parts Wholesale for 35 years, and also worked in the Department of Transportation for St. Lucie County for 20+ years.
Hilton enjoyed fixing cars, working in the yard, hunting, and going to visit family in GA. He loved his children and grandchildren, and serving Jesus through his church.
Hilton is survived by his daughter Sue Hendershot and son in law Todd Hendershot, his daughter Sherry Varn and son in law Myron Varn, and daughter Tammy Butler, his grandchildren Janelle and Joshua Hendershot, Lillian Varn, Christian and Katy Duelz, and his great grandson Victor Duelz.
He is predeceased by his wife Betty W. Butler.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458.
