Howell Burton (“Burt”) Hudson, 69 of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Glastonbury, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Sat. Aug 30, 2025. Born a “Leap Year” baby on February 29, 1956, in Birmingham, Alabama, Burt built a lifelong career at Pratt & Whitney, where colleagues remember him for his dedication, skill, calm, teamwork, steady approach, willingness to share his knowledge with younger engineers, and passion for aerospace engineering.
A devoted husband, Burt is survived by his spouse, Debra Bolden Hudson and by brothers (Mack and Carl, of the Birmingham, AL), the many friends and colleagues whose lives he touched through decades of work. He loved travelling and spending time with his wife and the 3 Bichon’s they raised over the years.
