Janine F. Perez
28 julio , 1930 – 9 junio , 2021
Janine F. Perez, 90 passed away on June 9, 2021, while living in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. She was born in July of 1930 in the city of Paris, France to Charles and Andree Renee Pinck, both French citizens.
In 1937 the family was uprooted when her father, a French Army Calvary Officer was reassigned to what was then French Morocco. It was there in 1950 that she met her husband to be, Johnny Perez, who was stationed at the U. S. Naval Air Facility, in what was then the city of Port Lyautey. They were married in the local Catholic Church in June of 1952. Shortly thereafter, she came to the United States with her husband and for the ensuing 24 years lived the life of a Navy Wife, with the sacrifices of separations and at times the joys of being together and family travels, including foreign shores. During this time she became a loving mother to a boy in Oct. of 53, a girl in Dec. of 54 and a second boy in Sept. of 57. When her husband finally retired after 30 years of Naval Service in 1976, the couple settled in the Tampa Bay area while the “kids” went off to college and started their own lives. They eventually relocated to Palm Beach Gardens in 2000, when their daughter, Rosanne was diagnosed with cancer and cared for her until she passed away in 2002.
Janine was also predeceased by her husband in March of 2021. She will be laid to rest with her husband at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth.
She is survived by her sons, John Charles and his wife, Kathleen and Michael Jay and her grandchildren, Sean Matthew Perez and Katie Marie Perez.
Janine will be laid to rest at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 1:30 pm. Please arrive by 1:15 am and line up in Lane 5.
