Husband, Father, Friend, Son, Brother, Uncle, Esteemed Colleague, Mentor, An exceptionally brilliant human being who led with kindness and laughter, leaving his imprint on all he knew — and all who knew him.
My best friend, my inseparable partner of almost 23 years, and the father of our most precious gifts. We always knew that together we were greater than the sum of our parts — something especially evident in our two girls, our love, and our family. The comfort and warmth he so effortlessly wrapped us in, and the laughter that filled our home, will be forever missed. I will keep you in my heart forever — I knew I loved you from the day I met you. ~Lauren
My world changed forever this week. I lost my dad—and most importantly, my best friend. For those lucky enough to know him, they would tell you he was the most caring, charismatic, and light-hearted person. He had a way of lighting up any room he stepped into, no matter the people or the place. My dad understood me like no one else. He always knew how to make me laugh, and somehow always knew what to say to put a smile on my face. He will always be my best friend and my favorite person to spend time with—whether it was getting fro-yo, sitting on the couch, or just talking about whatever was on my mind, he listened. I cherish every moment I had with him, and I will forever be jealous that I don’t get more moments like those. I look up to my dad and aspire to be as hardworking and determined in every aspect of life as he was. His unconditional love for my mom, my sister, and me was apparent to all who knew and loved our family. ~Elin
My dad — the best dad I could have asked for. Loving, kind, supportive, and truly the most amazing person I have ever known and loved — and always will love. He was always there to listen, offer the best advice, and genuinely enjoyed spending time with us. He lit up every room he walked into with his charisma and joy. I will forever cherish the time we shared and the memories we created. His unconditional love for me, my sister, and my mom was evident to us — and to everyone around us. It's a love we will continue to feel and hold close every single day. I will keep every memory and moment we shared close to my heart forever. I will miss you always. ~Mina
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
~Robert Frost
