I really miss you dad. I hope you know that you were a great father.

Our girls have been friends for over 20 years and we have seen them through ups and downs. Of course the grandkids they gave us are the biggest "ups" of all. We always had some laughs whenever we saw each other and there is no reason for us to think that you won't have heaven laughing too.  May God's peace be with your family.

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name in life we loved you dearly and in death we will do the same . It broke our hearts to lose you but you didnt go alone a great part of us went with you the day God called you home. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again..

John, I had the opportunity to be your nurse while you were at JMC in the PCU.  You fought this illness valiantly and with dignity as well as your humor. A Few Memories of My Friend John

...meeting him on the LIRR maybe 40 years ago (I've lost track of time)

...watching our kids grow into fine, responsible adults

...going fishing with the kids on party boats out of Point Lookout

...having coffee together at 6 a.m. on a Saturday or a Sunday morning just to enjoy each other's company

...his letting my then teenage son Andy dock his boat in back of the Biltmore Shores house (free of charge) and how John watched it and secured it in stormy weather just as he did his own boat

...he was a client as well as a friend and the professional John and the personal John were equally easy to get along with

...his tremendous pride when he showed me the brand new Corvette he bought after his back surgery.  It only took him a few seconds to get into the driver's seat, but it took me a good 1/2 hour to help get him back out.

If we are lucky, we meet a few people in our lifetime that we can truly call friend.  I am proud to call John one of those few and I will miss him.

Judy and Family, I am so sorry for the loss of John.  Believe me Judy, I know exactly how you feel now.  Be good to yourself and with the blessing of your family, friends and God you will be okay again. John was a wonderful man and I will miss him. I am going to try to be at the funeral home on Friday.

All the times you made me laugh until I cried.  You were always there for me when I needed advice on something especially after my dad passed.. 

You are one of kind and I will miss you so much. Your laugh infectious, your smile could light up a room and your sense of humor well anyone who knows you knows what I'm talking about.
