John Francis Dougherty, 86, of Tequesta passed away on June 14, 2013. He was a proud Navy and Army veteran who enjoyed a successful career with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft and retired as a Security Specialist. He leaves his wife, Enid Dougherty of Tequesta, daughter, Susan Baroni-Schaffer (Hank) of Colchester, CT, step-son, C.B. King of Hampton, VA, step-daughter, Lynette King Gittis of New York, NY, granddaughters; Kate Baroni of Rocky Point, NY and Genna Baroni of Brooklyn, NY, grandson, Chase King of Virginia Beach, VA sister, Lorraine Faith of Hollywood, FL and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, M. Barbara MacLellan. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the charity of your choice.
