John was born in South Boston, Massachusetts on November 26, 1934 to the late Felix and Amelia Petrulis. He attended Harvard University. After Harvard, he began work at a car dealership where he met the woman who would become his wife, Nancy, by holding her car back for repairs until he could work up the nerve to ask her on a date. The pair moved to Topsfield, MA, and welcomed the addition of two beautiful children, Laurie and John Felix Jr., who loved to help at the family-owned business, Ocean Pontiac. After the kids were grown, John and Nancy began the second part of their life by moving to Jupiter Farms, FL. While John had every intention of retiring, his love of cars won out, and he began a sec ond career a t Grieco Mazda in Delray Beach. John’s work ethic and passion for cars was unmatched, and he continued working there until his passing.
