

Joe was born March 18, 1944, in Meriden, Connecticut to Joseph and Stella Blair. In 1957 his family relocated to Hollywood, FL. Joe attended South Broward High School and later graduated from Embry Riddle University with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. After graduating college, Joe married his high school sweetheart, Geraldine (Jerri) Silk. Shortly the newlyweds moved to West Palm Beach where he began his engineering career at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. In 1971 Joe opened Community TV Sales & Service Palm Beach Gardens.
Joe is predeceased by his parents and brother, Robert. He is survived by wife, Jerri, son Greg (Rebecca) and daughter, Cheryl Berntsen (Kris) along with five grandchildren Ryan and Andrew Berntsen, Olivia, Zachary and Nathan Blair, numerous special nieces and nephews, and the dearest of friends.
Joe will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He had a generous and giving spirit
coupled with his quick-witted sense of humor. Joe was an exceptional man, possessing bold strength and tender softness to those he loved. If ever you needed an advocate in your corner, Joe was your choice. He was a devoted husband and dedicated father and grandfather.
Over his lifetime he enjoyed years of pleasure boating, cruising and once retired from Community TV, he and Jerri traveled the nation in their motor home making numerous friends along the way.
Services will be held Saturday, August 23 at 1:00 at St. Clare's Catholic Church, 821 Prosperity Farms Road, North Palm Beach.
