Julie was born on September 1, 1943 to Joseph and Mary (Robyck) Budnar in Elmira, New York. She graduated from Edison High School, and following graduation from college, she worked for Corning, Incorporated where she met her beloved husband, Bob. She worked there until her first son was born, and then cherished every moment spent at home raising her three sons. After Bob’s retirement, they realized their dream of living in Florida.
Julie loved life and was always on the go. Everybody she met was greeted with an amazing, infectious smile and a wonderful, cheerful personality. She enjoyed playing golf, traveling, working out to stay fit, spending time at the ocean, shopping, reading, and spending time with her sons, precious grandchildren, and friends. She loved a competitive game of Mahjong with The Posse. She was quite the shutter bug as she always wanted to capture all of life’s great moments. Golfing with her friends in Jonathan’s Landing was her first passion, with shopping coming in at a close second.
Julie is survived by her beloved husband, Bob, of 57 years, her sons, Bobby, Joseph (J.J.), and Michael (Kim), her granddaughters Riley and Reese, her brother, Joseph (Jan) Budnar, and many nieces and nephews.
