Kermit married Jeanette Faye Jackson Webb in 1950 and together they shared 50 years of marriage until her passing in 2000. He then met and married, Julia and they have shared 19 years of marriage. Kermit was employed as a Superintendent for Prestress Concrete for Juno Prestressors for over 50 years.
In his younger years, he was an avid baseball player. In his retirement years, he built home patio furniture and liked watching his favorite sports teams including the Braves, Marlins and college football.
He is survived by three sisters, Vivian W. Jackson of Pinetops, NC, Sylvia W. Summerlin of Tarboro, NC and Edna W. Moody of Loxahatchee, FL; his spouse Julia M. Webb of Jupiter, FL; four sons, Kermit Webb, Jr., David W. Webb, Sr. of Jupiter, FL, Billy M. Webb, Sr. of Tallahassee, FL and Robert L. Webb of Brooksville, FL; as well as eleven grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and first wife, he is predeceased by a brother, Carson Webb; a sister, Lucille Webb and a son, Gene A. Webb.
